Share a Flight! Share the Costs!
EFA renters can us the Bulletin Board function in MyFBO to post messages and contact information about sharing flights with other EFA customers. This is a great way to meet new people, while taking advantage of sharing the costs of flying. Please be aware that flight sharing can only be done by certified pilots.
Posting a message with MyFBO is simple and easy. When you log into the system, you should find yourself on the “Message Center” page. If not, just click on the “Message Center” heading on the “Home” tab. Once there, click on “Add a Bulletin Board Item”, and enter your header and message. Then scroll down and click submit. Bulletin Board items do require approval from EFA, but we do regularly check for pending items. As soon and we approve your post, it will appear on everyone’s log in page.
There are a number of ways that flight sharing can help you to become a stronger more confident pilot. For example, you and a partner can plan a cross country trip to somewhere new, or for instrument pilots, you and your flight sharing partner can use each other as a safety pilot while you work on perfecting your instrument flying skills.
We hope that you find this to be a valuable tool to meet new people, and keep you up and flying.
