FAA Regulations state:  “Night currency requires three landings to a full stop in the same category and class of aircraft within the preceding 90 days in order to carry passengers.” To be proficient, make sure that you understand airport lighting and can spot the airport beacon among city lights and feel comfortable with pattern work and landings.
