Charles Lindbergh…a little bit of history at EFA

N54430_C-150The unassuming Cessna 150 that was recently at the EFA Maintenance hangar in North Andover, MA is, reportedly, the last aircraft flown by Charles Lindbergh.

We hear about many aircraft with a ‘history’, but we don’t always see one. Owner and Mass resident, Steve Sides, brought his Cessna to us for maintenance early January. When we heard about it’s history, we were floored. As a proponent for aviation and the pilot of the famed “Spirit of St. Louis”, Charles Lindbergh’s legacy lives on in this aircraft. His legacy also lives on with his grandson, Erik Lindbergh, who also flew same transatlantic flight in 2002 to revisit the historic flight of his grandfather 75 years later.
