Jason Becomes a CFI in 7 Days with Fast Track

Jason Hawkins

“He did it in 7 days.”

Tony leaned over the dispatch desk shaking his head with a smile on his face.

“He did it in 7 days.”

Jason had just passed his CFI checkride with Steve Brown, a Principle Operations Inspector at the Boston FSDO.

Jason has served in the US Air Force for about twelve years. He is preparing to become a civilian again and he’s come up with a great way to give back.

Jason hopes to start an organization that gives at-risk urban youth the chance to help build kit planes they can eventually fly. Throughout the process, they practice setting goals, learning a trade and enjoying the benefits of honest hard work.

But for this vision to become reality, Jason needed to become a flight instructor. He turned to EFA and joined our fast track program.

In fast track, clients hire instructors at a discounted rate for 4 hours or 8 hours at a time. Clients fly, do ground school or practice on the simulator. The extra time allows clients pursuing advanced ratings to accomplish a lot very quickly.

As Jason left the office, he turned and shook Tony’s hand. “Thank you for everything.”

“Hey man,” Tony replied. “I just showed you the door and you walked through it.”

Whatever your aviation dreams are, all of us at Executive Flyers are eager to get you started.

Congratulations, Jason.
