Did you know you don’t have to be rated in a multi-engine airplane to get your ATP? In fact, you can get it in any instrument certified airplane. All you have to do is demonstrate proficiency within the tolerances of the ATP Practical Test Standards (PTS). Once you’ve taken the ATP written knowledge test, you don’t have to take it again when you decide to add a multi-engine rating to your certificate.
