Great work Nicolas!
You always remember your first solo!
Nicolas is a young man who came to EFA from Switzerland to learn how to fly at the recommendation of his friend, an acquaintance of our own Michael Goulian.
He has been working very hard and flew his first solo yesterday at Hanscom Field in Bedford. It’s an important milestone, and Nicolas’ passionate persistence tells us that there will be many more.
Chris Gantner is now fully qualified to flight instruct in our twin-engine Beechcraft Duchess!
Chris Gantner is a valuable member of our team. He works with clients from both our Bedford base and our Lawrence base. After a lot of hard work, we are thrilled to announce that Chris is now a fully qualified flight instructor for multi-engine aircraft!
You’re invited to learn how EFA & Cirrus are changing how Boston flies.
Cirrus co-founder Dale Klapmeier, along with famed air racer Michael Goulian, invite you to join us for an exciting Inside Cirrus Special Event celebrating Executive Flyers Aviation’s appointment as a Cirrus Training Center and the opening of Cirrus’ Regional Sales office.
Executive Flyers Aviation is the leading flight school in the Boston area. EFA will soon offer a full flight-line of Cirrus aircraft available for training and rental. Additionally, EFA offers aircraft management services for your convenience.
At the event get behind the scenes for a firsthand look at the completely redesigned 2013 Generation 5 SR22T. With 200 lbs. more useful load, 60/40 FlexSeating™ with seating for 5, Cirrus Perspective™ by Garmin®, Cirrus Known Ice Protection™ and the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System™ which has saved 69 lives to date, there’s never been a better aircraft available to you.

Congratulations to long-time friend of EFA Charlie Bernstein who recently earned his Commercial Pilot certificate! We wish him all the best throughout his aviation adventures!
An invitation from Craig Fuller,
President of AOPA
Please join me for a pilot town hall gathering on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:30 am – 10:00 am at Signature Flight Support’s Hangar 13 located on Hanscom Field.
With the national elections behind us, a new year ahead of us, and the economy just maybe starting to show some signs of growth, I am anxious to get out into the flying community and talk with those who are passionate about flying.
Throughout 2013, I’ll visit major metropolitan areas and gather with fellow pilots and AOPA members to discuss the issues that most directly affect our freedom to fly. I will share my perspective on the current state of general aviation and AOPA’s initiatives to grow the pilot population. I’ll also bring you up to speed on AOPA’s efforts in Washington, D.C., and key issues nationwide, on how we fight to protect airports, prevent tax hikes, and build the GA community.
When aviators connect, great things happen. Together, we can generate new ways of thinking and make general aviation stronger. I’ll be in your area soon, and I invite you to join me, and even bring a friend who’s interested in aviation.
The event is free, but please RSVP to events@aopa.org so we know to expect you. Be sure to include MA in the subject line if you plan to attend. If you are flying in, aircraft parking is available at Signature Flight Support. They can be reached at 781-274-0010, or email bed@signatureflight.com.

Signature Aviation Executive Terminal, two buildings right of the Civil Air Terminal
We hope you’ll consider bidding. This would make two great gifts, one for the CRVNA and one for your friend or family member who has always wanted to fly.
The crowd listens to an aviation safety presentation at Crash Course 2013.
The core purpose of Crash Course 2013 was to gather pilots to discuss safety concerns. Presenters discussed the poor decision-making that led to real-life accidents. The goal was to help the rest of us manage risk and make better decisions.
EFA announces approval as a Cirrus Aircraft flight training center.
EFA officially announced its approval as a Cirrus Aircraft authorized flight training center. This addition to our suite of services, including exceptional Cessna flight training, gives our clients more opportunities to live their passion for flight.
Mobile Cirrus aircraft panel for people to try.
Our friend and Cirrus Aircraft sales partner Cliff Allen brought a Cirrus panel display. Many Crash Course guests took turns trying out the Garmin displays and integrated autopilot.
A Terrafugia Transition (“flying car”) display was one of many other exciting sights at this year’s Crash Course.
Our own Vanessa Blakeley, EFA Dispatch at Lawrence, wore her other hat at the Terrafugia Transition table. You’ll remember that when it is approved, the Transition will be a “roadable airplane” or a “flying car.” Just imagine…
Thank you to everyone who came to the event! We’ll see you next year!
Cirrus Aircraft produces highly advanced general aviation airplanes; we help you fly them.
Our motto at Executive Flyers Aviation is “Passion. found.” That means we help every aviator realize her dreams. For some, those dreams include flying a Cirrus SR-20, SR-22 or SR-22T.
While we remain dedicated to operating New England’s best fleet of Cessna aircraft, EFA is proud to announce that we are adding Cirrus to our expanding line of training airplanes.
