Training Pilots Since 1964

Executive Flyers Aviation is the oldest flight school in New England but it started with one man & one airplane. EFA was founded in 1964 by Myron Goulian & continues to be run by his family.

Myron Goulian learned to fly in the 1940s, became a licensed pilot at the age of 16 & logged over 30,000 flight hours in his career. A former crop duster, US Army helicopter mechanic in the Korean War & airline pilot instructor for Northeast Airlines, Myron enjoyed flying but his passion was training students.

Myron’s wife Rita operates EFA today with her sons Mike & Matt Goulian. Mike Goulian is a US national aerobatic champion and developed EFA’s highly regarded Unusual Attitude & Acrobatic Flying courses. Matt Goulian is a Commercial Rated fixed wing & helicopter pilot & Licenced Aviation Mechanic. Flying is in the blood of Executive Flyers Aviation.

In our four decades of flight instruction, EFA has trained thousands of pilots (Link to Pilot Community customer profiles) who fly for fun or for business. Many have made aviation a career in the airlines or armed services. We’ve even provided initial flight training for two space shuttle astronauts. We will help you fulfill your dream of flight.
