Your training will be conducted in our Piper Arrow PA-28R. This trustworthy trainer meets the FAA requirements for complex airplanes with retractable landing gear, flaps and a controllable pitch propeller.

Part 141 Course Details
- You must already hold a Private Pilot’s license and you must either hold an Instrument rating or be concurrently enrolled in an Instrument rating course to enroll in a Part 141 Commercial training course.
- At the end of the Commercial course you are required to have a minimum of 190 total hours logged in your log book.
- The Cessna Pilot Center Computer based program fulfills most of the ground based portion of the Commercial Rating.
- You will log approximately 55 hours of dual flight training and 65 hours of solo flights during your Commercial training. Of the 55 hours of flight training, a minimum of 10 hours will be spent in the Piper Arrow for complex aircraft training to get your complex endorsement.

Part 61 Course Details
- You must already hold a Private Pilot’s license to enroll in a Part 61 Commercial training course.
- At the end of the Commercial course, you are required to have a minimum of 250 total hours logged in your book. The 250 hours must include a minimum of: 100 hours as pilot-in-command, 10 hours of instrument training, 10 hours complex aircraft training, and various cross country and night flights.
- You will also complete ground training with your instructor to enhance your aeronautical knowledge.
- The number of hours flown while enrolled in this course vary depending upon your previous flight experience.
