Instrument Pilot Certificate

Skyhawk

True flying freedom requires an instrument rating.
Fortunately, EFA can help you with that.

Why Instruments
Becoming an Instrument rated pilot will enhance your skills and extend your flying options. You’ll fly more confidently, even in VFR conditions, you’ll be safer during those hazy New England marginal VFR flights and you won’t be grounded in full IFR conditions.

Why Executive Flyers
You’ll fly with knowledge gained from EFA’s Instrument Pilot Course, taking full advantage of the available resources of ATC and the avionics in our Arrow or state of the art Cessna Skyhawks and Skylanes. You’ll improve your airmanship and master the advanced avionics systems and multi-function displays. These new aircraft offer redundant vacuum pumps and IFR GPS, providing that extra level of confidence in the clouds. Some are also equipped traffic avoidance and datalink weather.

Your CFII has undergone rigorous professional development with EFA to ensure they meet our exacting standards of Instrument Pilot Instruction developed over our 40 years of advanced flight training. Periodic stage checks with our most senior staff offer additional support to make you the most precise and knowledgeable Instrument Rated Pilot in the skies.

Please inquire about our “Fast Track” Instrument program if you would like an accelerated syllabus.
