Michael 'Peas' Peaslee
Flight Instructor

Inspired by a high school friend who shared the same drive and desire, Michael began his flying career in 1988 as a B-52 Navigator with the United States Air Force. In 1990, he deployed with the 69th BMS from Loring AFB (Maine) and subsequently flew combat missions over Iraq in support of Desert Storm.

After leaving active duty, he has continued to serve in the Air National Guard, deploying several times in the past years to support Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.

Michael undertook the majority of his civilian pilot training right here at Executive Flyers Aviation through which he earned Private, Instrument, Commercial and Instructor ratings. Today he flies professionally in both airplanes and helicopters and works as a part-time instructor at EFA in his “spare” time.

Michael embraces a mentoring approach to learning and emphasizes that instruction needs to reflect the differences in individuals. To him, “Flight instruction should leverage your life experiences in a positive, productive and enjoyable environment.”

Michael takes pride in helping folks reach their goals and discover they are capable of much more than they ever thought possible.
